Pineapple Chunk HTSFE Sauce – High Voltage

Pineapple Chunk was created by Barney's Farm in Amsterdam by crossing their proprietary Pineapple strain with a Cheese / Skunk #1 hybrid. The breeding goal was to combine the sweet tropical pineapple essence with the beloved sour earthiness of Cheese genetics and the pungent vigour of Skunk #1, producing a plant with layered aromatic complexity, exceptional yield (up to 650g/m² indoors), short flowering time (55–60 days), and strong disease and mould resistance. The 2009 High Times Cannabis Cup Best Indica win validated the combination: Pineapple Chunk's unique pairing of tropical sweetness with funky earthiness in an easy-to-grow, high-yielding plant was recognised as one of the best indica expressions of its era. The 1.1% CBD content alongside 25%+ THC also contributes to a well-rounded medicinal appeal.

Pineapple Chunk's aromatic profile is unusual because it holds two strongly contrasting terpene directions simultaneously: tropical pineapple sweetness from the Barney's Pineapple parent, and the sour, earthy, slightly fermented quality of Cheese alongside Skunk #1's classic pungency. This sweet-meets-funky contrast creates a layered sensory experience in the HTSFE sauce where the initial aroma on opening the jar delivers tropical fruit brightness, but a deeper inhale reveals the earthy cheese funk underneath. On consumption at a low-temperature dab, the pineapple sweetness comes through on the draw with the earthy-cheesy character developing through the exhale. High Voltage's fresh-frozen in-house approach preserves both of these aromatic dimensions at their most complete and accurate expression.

High Voltage Pineapple Chunk HTSFE sauce can be consumed through either a dab rig with a banger or electronic nail, or with an appropriate concentrate vaporiser / wax pen that is designed to handle sauce-consistency concentrates. Standard flower vaporisers are not appropriate — the sauce-format liquid component requires a concentrate-capable device. When using a wax pen with a ceramic or quartz coil chamber, load a small amount (the coil should not be over-filled) and heat at a moderate setting to avoid burning the terpenes before inhalation. For dab rigs, lower temperature (315–420°F / 157–215°C) preserves the pineapple terpene character. HTSFE sauces are among the most terpene-rich concentrate formats, so temperature discipline significantly impacts the flavour quality of each session.
