3Chi Delta 9 THC Gummies – Black Raspberry (200 mg Total)

Yes — Delta 9 tetrahydrocannabinol is the same molecule whether it is derived from hemp or marijuana. The compound's chemical structure, pharmacological activity, and psychoactive effects are identical regardless of source plant. The distinction between hemp-derived and marijuana-derived Delta 9 THC is purely legal: hemp is defined as cannabis with less than 0.3% Delta 9 THC by dry weight, and the 2018 Farm Bill made hemp and its derivatives federally legal under that threshold. Hemp-derived Delta 9 gummies like 3Chi's are formulated with the total Delta 9 content below 0.3% of the gummy's weight while still delivering a meaningful per-piece dose. The psychoactive experience from 20mg of hemp-derived Delta 9 is functionally identical to 20mg of dispensary Delta 9 at the consumer level.

Delta 9 THC is significantly more potent than Delta 8 THC at equivalent milligram doses — Delta 8 is estimated at roughly 50–70% of Delta 9's psychoactive potency. This means 20mg of Delta 9 (one 3Chi D9 gummy) will produce noticeably stronger psychoactivity than 20mg of Delta 8. The qualitative character of the experience also differs: Delta 9 tends to produce more intense psychoactivity with a higher potential for anxiety, paranoia, and sensory alteration at equivalent doses, while Delta 8 is generally described as clearer-headed and less likely to produce anxiety. For consumers transitioning from Delta 8 to Delta 9 gummies, starting at a lower dose (half a gummy = 10mg D9) is advisable even with established Delta 8 tolerance.

3Chi publishes a list of states they ship hemp-derived Delta 9 products to on their website, and this list changes as state laws evolve. As hemp-derived products, 3Chi Delta 9 gummies are federally legal under the 2018 Farm Bill, but individual states have enacted varying regulations around Delta 9 THC products regardless of source. Some states have specifically banned hemp-derived Delta 9 or impose restrictions on per-package milligram limits. Consumers should verify current availability in their state on 3Chi's website at the time of purchase. TopShelf ships these products in compliance with applicable laws; customers are responsible for understanding their local regulations before ordering.
